The Idlewild African American
Chamber of Commerce is in search copies of
K. D. Davis' Idlewilders Magazine in preparation for the Idlewild Centennial
Celebration in 2012. Anyone with extra copies of the magazine for the years
1955, 1956, 1957, 1958, and 1963 is being asked to forward these copies to the
attention of John Meeks, President of the organization. The chamber is
preparing a display case where these copies of the magazine will be displayed
as part of its effort to preserve and showcase Idlewild's history.
